1. Student on-line
registration
The on-line procedure helps simplify the application process for Indian students desirous of pursuing higher education in France. This one-time procedure assists the student from the time he begins his search for the appropriate course and institution till the time he applies for the visa. CampusFrance now offers:
• A single window for pedagogical and consular procedures
• A personalized space for communication with the counselor
• A streamlined process to ensure continuous monitoring of the candidate’s file
• A direct contact with French Educational Institutions
• A simplified visa application process by conducting the NOC interview at our offices across the country. The on-line procedure becomes mandatory at this stage. ALL students traveling to France will be required to register on the Campus France Web site.

Mandatory Online student registration
The on-line registration is mandatory for Indian citizens - or foreigners residing in India - intending to pursue higher studies in France.
* Students planning to go to France for a short stay to appear for an entrance exam or an interview are exempted from the on-line CampusFrance procedure.
3. Visa application procedure
● STEP ONE: On-line registration: It is recommended that the student registers online even as he begins considering France as a destination for higher education. The information he uploads (educational qualification, academic records, internships, language skills…etc.) will give him access to a various possibilities with regard to his study plans. An e-mail address is all he needs to sign up after which he will receive an identification code and relevant information to help him continue the registration.
● STEP TWO: Payment for application. Each student is required to pay a fee of Rs. 6500/-, in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “CEDUST”, payable at New Delhi. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
● STEP THREE: Activation of personal space to track progress of his file and to communicate with the Counselor assigned to him.
● STEP FOUR: Dispatch of hard copy of application file. This must be sent to the Campus France office, closest to the place of residence of the candidate.
● STEP FIVE: A personal interview of the candidate will be conducted by the Campus France Counselor in order to check the authenticity of the candidate’s documents, to assess his profile and, at a later stage, to issue a “No objection” certificate during the visa application process. This interview will be of an approximate duration of half an hour. The candidate will be required to furnish general information on himself self and details with regard to his academic credentials, higher education and future plans.
● STEP SIX: Visa application. Information on this process is explained on the Web site. It may however be noted that the French Consulate reserves the right to accept or reject an application.
